Affymetrix Genechip DNA Mapping Service

We have years of experience in SNP array based genotyping of individuals for association studies and pharmacogenetics. Our GeneChip® Mapping Array service enable scientists to conduct large-scale linkage analysis, association, and copy number studies at a greater throughput and at a lower cost per data point. These high-density arrays contain thousands of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).

GeneChip® Mapping Arrays can be applied to a broad spectrum of genetic analyses:

  • Linkage analysis

  • LOH
  • Chromosomal copy number analysis

We offer the range of Affymetrix GeneChip® Mapping arrays that cover 10,000 to 1 Million SNP´s in humans and many other species.



Affymetrix Genome expression profiling service

The full Affymetrix GeneChip Expression array processing service consists of RNA sample QC, cDNA and cRNA synthesis and QC, fragmentation, hybridisation and scanning. We use all currently available GeneChip expression arrays.

Agilent has leveraged its 60-mer technology to build catalog microarrays that will offer new levels of consistency, quality and performance compared to in-lab spotted arrays or traditional commercial oligo microarrays.

 

 


Bio-Rad Bio-Plex

The Bio-Plex system is a flexible, easy-to-use multiplex analysis system that permits the simultaneous analysis of up to 100 different biomolecules (proteins, peptides, or nucleic acids) in a single microplate well.


cDNA arrays

  • Helicobacter pylori expression cDNA array (V1.0)
    The probes on this microarray representing 1632 ORF from HP including 1590 ORFs from strain 26695 and 103 from strain J99. All the probes were amplified from plasmid clones whose sequence was guaranteed by sequencing.

  • Human 16K expression cDNA array (V2.3)
    The array represents 16450 verified human sequences from the NCBI RefSeq database, including 12581 known genes and 3869 ESTs. All the probes were amplified from plasmid clones whose sequence was guaranteed by sequencing. These genes can be categorized into cell division, cell signaling, cell structure, gene and protein expression, metabolism etc.

    Applications:

    1. Clarifying diseases.

    2. Validating drug targets.

    3. Discovering genes and characterizing gene function;

    4. Analyzing toxicological responses

    Features:

    1. High sensitivity and specificity;

    2. To facilitate data analysis, the genes in the array is fully annotated, which provides valuable information on molecular function and biological process.

    3. 16 quality control including 6 negative controls and 10 positive controls was used to assure the reliability of the result; Each control has been repeated for 48 times 4.the plasmid clone can be provided if further gene functional study is needed.

  • Human 5K expression cDNA array (V1.0)
    The probes on this microarray were from NCBI RefSeq database. all 5075 genes are well studied and reviewed. All the probes were amplified from plasmid clones whose sequences were guaranteed by sequencing. This microarray is an ideal tool for researchers with limited resources and those just getting started with Microarray technology.

    3. Discovering genes and characterizing gene function

    4. Analyzing toxicological responses

    Features:

    1. High sensitivity and specificity

    2. To facilitate data analysis, the genes in the array is fully annotated. which provides valuable information on molecular function and biological process

  • Rat 12K expression cDNA array (V1.3)
    The array represents 11060 verified Rat sequences from the NCBI RefSeq database, including 5657 known genes and 4716 ESTs. All the probes were amplified from plasmid clones whose sequence was guaranteed by sequencing. These genes can be categorized into cell division, cell signaling, cell structure, gene and protein expression, metabolism etc.

    Features:

  • Rat receptor & ion channel cDNA microarry (V1.1)
    The probes on this microarray representing 418 rat receptor and ion channel genes. All the probes were amplified from plasmid clones whose sequence were guaranteed by sequencing. Rat receptor & ion channel cDNA microarry are designed to determine the expression profile of genes that encode for growth factor receptor, IFN receptor, hormone receptor, cytokine receptor, protein kinase, protein phosphatase, G protein, orphan protein, nuclear receptor; ion channel genes include voltage mediated ion channel, water channel, amino acid and nucleotide transfer protein, ion bump etc.

  • Human Cell apoptotic cDNA array (V1.1)
    The array represents 458 apoptosis related genes. All the probes were amplified from plasmid clones whose sequence was guaranteed by sequencing. Human Cell apoptotic arrays are designed to determine the expression profile of genes that encode key ligands, receptors, intracellular modulators, and transcription factors involved in the regulation of programmed cell death. Other apoptosis-related arrays represent key signal transduction pathways and stress responses that initiate or propagate programmed cell death.

    Human microRNA oligo microarray is high quality microarray that contain probes targeting a comprehensive selection of human from miRBase (Sanger miRNA Registry). The 40bp probes on this microarray representing 307 human microRNA sequences.

  • Mouse microRNA oligonucleotide array(V1.0)

Mouse drug target expression oligonucleotide array (V1.0)

The probes on this microarray represent 438 drug target genes. These 70bp probes were all from Operon Company and located near 3' end. The sequence was derived from Unigene, mouse refseq database. Each 70mer probe is designed to have optimal specificity for its target gene and is melting-temperature normalized.

Features:

  1. Highly sensitive-comparable to cDNA probes without the drawbacks of PCR amplification

  2. Excellent specificity-sequence optimized to minimize cross-hybridization, allowing analysis of overlapping and homologous genes

  3. Normalized hybridization conditions-melting-temperature (Tm) normalized oligo sets

  4. Eukaryotic probes biased toward the 3' end of each gene.

Antibody service

Our custom polyclonal antibody development team provides multiple options to quickly meet your unique needs. For production of high quality antisera, we will match your choice of antigen (peptide, protein, biologic, or small molecule), to one of our tailored protocols, a preferred species, and production scale. Meticulous purification and characterization ensure the identity and performance of your order. Project status and data reports are monitored by our exclusive in-house custom service database tracking system. Our service is performed in clean room suites using standard operating procedures (SOPs) and can be recorded in GLP compliant batch records that are turned over to our clients upon completion of each production batch.


Bioinformatics Service
